1. Who we are

cobotmove.com is run by ELintegration, the sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) of Eli Lievens. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean ELintegration.

  • Address: Pannestraat 50, 9000 Gent, Belgium
  • Enterprise number: 0809.026.223
  • VAT number: BE0809026223
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Phone: +32 456 55 30 99
  • Website: www.elintegration.com

The company details page has the same facts and says where the site is hosted.

2. Scope

These terms apply to every purchase of a paid pack on cobotmove.com, by businesses and by consumers. A consumer is an individual who buys for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Some sections apply to consumers only, or to businesses only. They say so.

These terms do not apply to the free programs in the catalogue. Their authors share them under the licence shown on each listing.

These terms are in English, and the contract is concluded in English. Dutch and French versions will follow.

3. What a pack is, and what it is not

A pack is a zip file that you download. It holds:

  • the robot programme, in readable URScript (Universal Robots) or Fairino Lua;
  • a hand-over header at the top of the programme: the frame to re-teach in three points, the tool, the payload, the inputs and outputs, the speeds, and the sentence "Verified in simulation only, not tested on hardware";
  • a README with the re-teach checklist;
  • the plan and the trajectory data of the verification run, and its metrics;
  • the licence text, and a manifest that lists every file.

Every pack is verified on the simulated robot controller: URSim for Universal Robots, SimMachine for Fairino. It is not tested on a real robot. The listing page names the robot model the pack is for.

Where the cell waits for a part, the verified programme waits a fixed time. The README says how to replace each of these waits with a wait on your own sensor input.

The programme contains a licence check and a watermark. Section 9 explains both.

A pack is a programme, not a machine. It has not been validated in your cell. Before it moves a real robot, you or your integrator re-teach the frame on your own fixture, set the real tool and payload, check the inputs and outputs, and set speeds and safety limits from your own risk assessment. The first run is at reduced speed.

Whoever assembles the robot cell and puts it into service carries out its risk assessment, provides the guarding and the safety functions, and takes care of the conformity of the machine (CE marking). We supply a programme. We carry out no risk assessment and no conformity assessment for your cell.

4. Prices and VAT

The listing page shows the price including VAT first: with the Belgian VAT of 21 %, as a consumer in Belgium pays it. Below it, it shows the price excluding VAT, for businesses. For example, the pick-and-place pack for the UR5e costs 240.79 EUR including 21 % VAT, or 199.00 EUR excluding VAT.

The final VAT is calculated on Stripe's payment page, by Stripe Tax, from your country and from the VAT number you enter, if any. Stripe's page shows the total before you pay. If you buy for a business in another EU country and enter a valid VAT number there, no VAT is charged: the reverse charge applies, and you account for the VAT in your own country.

There are no delivery costs and no other charges.

Stripe issues the invoice in our name and sends it to you by email. If you buy for a business that is registered for VAT in Belgium, you receive a structured electronic invoice through the Peppol network from our accounting.

5. Payment

You pay on Stripe's payment page (Stripe Checkout), by card or by another method that Stripe offers there. Stripe is our payment service provider. We never see your card number.

On that page, Stripe asks you to accept these terms. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.

The contract is concluded when your payment succeeds. We confirm your order by email, with these terms and the licence of your pack attached.

6. How you order and activate

  1. Sign in to your cobotmove account, or create one.
  2. On the listing page of the pack, press Buy and accept the safety terms.
  3. In the buy window, tick the box about the right of withdrawal (section 8). The button to continue stays closed until you tick it.
  4. Continue to Stripe's payment page. Check the product, the price, the VAT and your details, and correct them if needed. Accept these terms and pay. To stop without paying, go back to cobotmove.
  5. Back on cobotmove, your licence waits for activation.
  6. Enter the serial number of your robot arm. The first serial number you enter locks the licence to that robot, so check it before you press Activate.
  7. Press Download to get your own copy of the pack.

Your licences stay listed on your account page (My programs, Purchases), each with its state. We keep a record of every order with the version of these terms that applied to it. On request, we send you that version.

7. Delivery

We supply the pack by download, right after you activate your licence. Your copy is built for your robot serial number and your order. A download link works for 60 seconds; press Download again for a new one. You can download your copy again for as long as your licence is active.

If a purchase is refunded, its licence is withdrawn and the pack can no longer be downloaded.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day the contract is concluded: the day your payment succeeds.

When the right ends early

A pack is digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium. For such content, the right of withdrawal ends once the supply has begun, if you asked for the supply to begin and acknowledged beforehand that you lose the right. The box in the buy window does exactly that. By ticking it:

  • you ask us to supply your pack right after payment and activation, within the 14 days; and
  • you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download of your pack has begun.

We confirm your request and your acknowledgement by email after your payment.

The supply begins when the download of your pack begins. So:

  • Before your first download, you can still withdraw within the 14 days and get a full refund.
  • Once the download has begun, you no longer have a right of withdrawal.

How to withdraw

Tell us within the 14 days with a clear statement, for example by email to [email protected], with your order number. You can use the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to. It is enough that you send your message before the 14 days are over.

What happens then

We refund everything you paid, VAT included, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We use the same means of payment as you did, unless you expressly agree to another one. The refund costs you nothing. The licence is withdrawn and the pack can no longer be downloaded. After a withdrawal, you must not use the pack or pass it on.

Businesses have no right of withdrawal.

9. Licence

We hold the copyright in the programme and in the pack. When you buy a pack, we give you a licence to use the programme on the terms below. The same text is in the file LICENSE.txt in your pack.

  1. One robot. The licence covers one robot: the robot whose arm serial number you entered at activation (the licensed robot). The first serial number entered locks the licence. A second robot needs a second purchase.
  2. No transfer. The licence cannot be transferred to another person or to another robot.
  3. Use. You may run the programme on the licensed robot. The licence has no time limit.
  4. Simulators. You may also run the programme in the simulators of Universal Robots (URSim) and Fairino (SimMachine), so that you can test it before it moves the robot.
  5. Adapting. The programme stays readable. You may adapt it for use on the licensed robot: re-teach the frame, set the tool and the payload, change the inputs, outputs, waits and speeds, and correct errors. Your integrator may do this for you. Adapted versions fall under this licence too.
  6. Copies. You may make the copies you need to use the programme, backups included.
  7. Not allowed. You may not distribute, sell, rent, lend, share or publish the programme or the pack, in whole or in part, adapted or not. You may not use the programme on another robot. You may not remove, disable or get around the licence check or the watermark.
  8. Licence check. When the programme starts, before any motion, it asks the robot controller for its serial number. On the licensed robot, and in a simulator, it runs. On another robot, it stops before any motion, with a message that names both serial numbers. If the serial number cannot be read, it shows a warning and runs.
  9. Watermark. Your robot serial number and your order id are written in the header of the programme, and in the last digits of a few waypoints, which moves them by less than 0.1 mm. This makes a copy that leaks traceable to its order.
  10. Serial problems. If the licence check refuses your licensed robot, or you made a typo in the serial number, write to after-sales (section 12).
  11. Your rights under the law. This licence does not limit what the law allows every lawful user of a computer program to do, such as making a backup copy or studying how the programme works.

10. Conformity and remedies (consumers)

As a consumer, you have the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (articles 1701/1 to 1701/19 of the old Civil Code). We must supply a pack that is in conformity with the contract: as described on the listing page and in these terms, and as the law requires.

A pack is supplied once. We are therefore liable for a lack of conformity that exists when the pack is supplied and becomes apparent within two years. If it becomes apparent within one year of the supply, it is up to us to prove that the pack was in conformity. That rule does not apply if we show that your robot controller or software does not meet the technical requirements we told you about before you bought. You help us, as far as reasonably possible, to find out whether that is the cause.

If the pack is not in conformity, you can ask us to bring it into conformity, free of charge and within a reasonable time. If that is impossible or disproportionate, if we do not do it within a reasonable time, or if the lack of conformity is serious, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction, or end the contract and get a refund. You cannot end the contract for a minor lack of conformity. Write to [email protected].

11. Liability

We are liable for damage we cause, as Belgian law provides. For businesses, one limit applies; it is set out below.

We never exclude or limit our liability:

  • for our intentional fault or our gross fault, or that of the people we are responsible for;
  • for death or personal injury;
  • under the rules on liability for defective products;
  • in any other case where the law does not allow it.

Consumers: no other limit applies. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the law.

Businesses: for any other damage, our total liability for a pack is limited to the amount you paid for that pack.

12. After-sales and paid support

After-sales works by email, at [email protected]. Every licence on cobotmove has an "Email after-sales" link, which fills in the order, the product and the serial number for you.

  • Serial problems: the activation refuses your robot's serial number, the licence check refuses your licensed robot, or you made a typo in the serial number after your first download. We look into it with you.
  • Paid support on your cell: re-teaching, commissioning, or adapting the programme to your cell. We send you a quotation first; the work is a separate contract.

13. Personal data

We process your personal data to sell and supply your pack, to run your licence and to keep our accounts. The privacy notice explains what we collect, why, for how long, who receives it, and your rights.

14. Complaints and disputes

If something is wrong, write to us first at [email protected]. We answer as quickly as we can and look for a solution with you.

Consumers: if we cannot agree, you can turn to the Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst, Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur), North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, Belgium, consumerombudsman.be. It passes your request to the competent mediation body, or handles it itself.

These terms and every purchase under them are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer and live in another country, you keep the protection that the mandatory rules of that country's law give you.

If a dispute goes to court, consumers keep the courts the law gives them, including the courts of the place where they live. For businesses, the courts of Ghent, Belgium, have jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for future purchases. The version in force on the day you buy applies to your purchase, and every order records its version. We keep every version. On request, we send you the version of your order, with the dates it applied.
